This year we have managed to raise £440 to donate to our three worthy Air Ambulance Services. We love the work they do so have nominated them again as SCDC’s charities of choice for 2022.

On On behalf of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust, thank you to the members of the Southern Carriage Driving Club for your wonderful donation of £146.55.  Your support and generosity is truly appreciated. Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity and relies on donations to continue our lifesaving work across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.

We receive no regular direct funding from the Government or National Lottery grants. It costs £4 million a year to continue flying and saving lives, that’s around £11,000 per day.  We have continued to operate on the frontline throughout the coronavirus pandemic, ensuring our aircrew are there for when people need us most. We have been able to continue bringing enhanced clinical skills, medication and lifesaving equipment to the scene, whilst taking the necessary precautions to protect our staff and patients.
