Results – 2026 Points Challenge

What a fantastic summer of competition we’ve had at our four Dummer Down Farm events! Our Members Points Challenge has kept everyone battling it out across the season, and we’re delighted to announce our overall winners!

OVERALL WINNER

Jo kicked off the summer with 2nd place in both the TREC and World Cup, before following that up with a fabulous win in the Gateway competition in July.

Jo and Bean then rounded off the summer with two great drives in our final event, taking great results in both the Fun Cones and Accumulator, securing the overall Challenge win with a whopping 46 points! 

Well done Jo and Bean!  It has been fantastic to see you competing throughout the summer, and a huge thank you for all your support of Southern Carriage Driving Club this year. 

2ND PLACE 

Jo and Bean were closely chased throughout the Challenge by Jim Parker and Teddy, who have produced some wonderfully consistent drives all summer.

Jim took 2nd place in the TREC and 3rd in the World Cup, before finishing the summer in style with wins in both the Fun Cones and Accumulator at our final event.

Those results saw Jim and Teddy finish a very close 2nd overall. 

Well done Jim! It has been brilliant to watch you and Teddy progress over the summer, and we’re looking forward to seeing what you achieve next!

3RD PLACE

Our 3rd place driver in the Members Points Challenge is Rachel Smith and Sam, who have enjoyed some lovely drives with us this summer.

Rachel took the win in the Over 12.2hh class with a lovely round at our World Cup event in June, and finished the summer strongly with 4th places in both the Fun Cones and Accumulator at our final event.

Well done Rachel and Sam some great results throughout the summer! 

A HUGE thank you to ALL our drivers who have supported Southern Carriage Driving Club throughout our summer events. It has been wonderful to see so many of you enjoying yourselves, competing, improving and having fun together. 

We hope to see you all at our AGM, where we’ll be presenting the Challenge prizes and rosettes.
