We’ve come to the end of our six fabulous Indoor Carriage Driving events at Sparsholt for the Wessex Region. Come rain or shine we carried on with delightful precisions & paces tests to music in the indoor arena and our cones courses challenged in different ways every month, even when there were puddles to contend with.
As always we are very grateful thanks to Chris & Karen our course builders who have worked tirelessly all season to create superb obstacles which always had various routes and options to suit every level of driver – and they are getting incresingly colourfull too, with the arrival of some big daffodils at our latest event. This year we also ran some long reining classes to diversify the opportuntites for members and their younger horses and ponies.
To our Judges: Jane Stuart and Caroline Douglas and stewards, Dave Crockford, Gemma, Gillian Stoneman, Marshall Butterworth and Jane our superb caterer – thank you. Without your support we couldn’t hold our events.

Everyone, both regular and new competitors, had a great season. We’ve had great feedback about the changes we’re making to improve our events and would like to say a big Congratulations to the Wessex Region ICD Championship qualifiers.
