Southern Carriage Driving Club wishes to express its deepest sadness following the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The Queen has been ever present throughout our lives and her steadfast, dutiful and calm presence has been a constant reassurance, especially at difficult times for the country.

We are incredibly fortunate as a nation to have enjoyed such a long period of stability during her 70 year reign, and to have shared her love of horses. Queen Elizabeth was a shining example of commitment and sense of purpose and we thank her for her contributions to the equestrian world.

We send our sincerest condolences to King Charles and the rest of The Royal Family.
